Yuri's Night Recap: World Space Party and Life on Mars

By Lucaso

A few weeks ago I headed to NASA's Ames Research Center to check out Yuri's night, an annual world space party celebrating humanity's first voyage into space. Inside the massive hangar music, airplanes, and science converged for a sexy, space party. We caught up with NASA scientist Chris McKay for a chat about life on Mars. He believes that alien life forms could be preserved in the Mars polar ice caps and would likely not be based on DNA, enabling a study of comparative biology for the first time ever.
