Silicon Valley Rocks! Charity Event for Local Schools

This looks fun and it is not in San Jose. Alison Murdock writes:

Join me for the debut of Silicon Valley Rocks! on December 3 at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco.

Silicon Valley Rocks! will be the first music showcase featuring performances from Silicon Valley’s tech community - from VCs and entrepreneurs to bloggers and software developers - to raise money for Music in Schools Today (MuST), a Bay Area non-profit that seeks to rescue school music programs from budget cuts.

The showcase will feature five bands comprised of people you know! You won't believe the musical talent that lurks around computers and term sheets. Stay tuned to the blog for our upcoming announcement of the line-up.

Event tickets include entry to the showcase and the after-party featuring the best networking, drinks, and dancing north of San Jose. Ticket purchases are tax deductible. Tickets are $35 until October 10, so don't wait to buy! Tickets can be purchased here.
