Horn Group 17th Anniversary
By Tom Foremski - June 4, 2008
Horn Group is one of my favorite PR agencies because of the high calibre of people that work there. Sabrina Horn, the founder, is one of the savviest PR mavens in the industry, and it is always a pleasure catching up with her as she shuttles between here and New York.
Horn Group has been building up its business by offering web site services of all kinds. It is helping its clients succeed online and offline.
Today is Horn Group's 17th Anniversary. Congratulations and here's to the next 17!

I still remember her reviewing a paper I had written on PeopleSoft in 1996 (when Horn was their PR firm). Gartner used to allow for a fact check review - but most vendors used such as session to bring their execs to lobby for better opinions not facts. PeopleSoft trusted her to do the review and it was a pleasant surprise. She made her points and did not push hard when I did not agree in some areas. I walked away with a very positive opinion. Since then it seems like every few years I hear from/about her and good to see them doing well...

Vinnie, thanks for that story. It just goes to show that good PR does not mean pushy PR.
