By Tom Foremski - September 7, 2007 Interesting social engineering, bad social network app. Avoid Quechup.com, it will spam your address book. My apologies to my address book...

A personal invite from Mr. Foremski to Quechup, this must be the next Big Thing I thought.
It got me to sign up...but now they're on my *hit list. Hope the bump in numbers of soon to be inactive accounts was worth killing their brand integrity.

Sean: Exactly. It was incredibly embarrassing for me to have fallen for that tactic. And incredibly stupid for Quechup. I won't touch anything to do with them or anybody even slightly associated with them. I would urge others to do the same but I'm sure I don't need to.
